Katherine graduated with a Major in Honours Psychology and a Minor in Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. While in school, she enjoyed courses that focused on the intricacies of romantic and familial relationships. After her undergraduate degree, she spent two years working for an insurance provider. Throughout this experience, she realized that what she enjoyed most was being a support to people navigating their way through life’s difficult times. Katherine is now currently pursuing her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
Katherine has spent time volunteering with the Dream Center in Los Angeles, CA, and Teen Challenge in Aurora, ON. In her time volunteering, she had many opportunities to build relationships with people in all walks of life. What resonated most with her was the innate human desire that all people share to feel both heard and understood.
Katherine is passionate about communication that is both effective and productive. She believes this is crucial when forming a united family unit. She is excited about providing her clients with the practical tools necessary for successful communication.
In her free time, you will find Katherine cozied up with a good book and strong cup of coffee. She enjoys going on adventures and spontaneous dates with her husband and friends. Both at work and at home, Katherine enjoys meaningful conversation and togetherness.
