Leona is passionate about supporting children, youth and their families. She has experience working and volunteering at children and youth non-for profit agencies, child, youth and adult mental health, youth residential programs, and child welfare. Leona values compassion, empathy and relationship building to enhance the well-being of children, youth and families through the use of individual strengths, community support and skill building.
Leona holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child and Youth Studies from Brock University, a Child and Youth Care diploma from Fanshawe College and recently completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at King’s University College at Western University. In her spare time, Leona enjoys spending quality time time with friends and family, reading, hiking, swimming and biking.
