Shauna has diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Gerontology Social Service and Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling.
She believes that caring for others is a calling and a privilege. She loves to come alongside her clients by providing them with the educational tools and support to help them reach their goals and dreams.
She welcomes clients into a faith-based approach at the clients request and believes it works towards a whole person approach in the therapeutic relationship.
Shauna loves to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She has worked with the elderly, children, and teens in a wide variety of settings.
Shauna has had a rich experience working abroad with a wide range of cultural backgrounds. She also has experience with children, teens and adults who struggle with ADHD and learning disabilities. She believes strongly that we need to encourage and re-teach children and society that disabilities are just “different abilities!”
She has practiced with individuals and teens who have struggled with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief and work and school challenges. Her passion and goals are to walk alongside individuals, empowering them to move towards self-growth.
Shauna loves spending time with her three boys, as well as discovering creative pursuits, travel, outdoor adventures and loves to cook and bake and enjoys a wide variety of culinary food.
