Elizabeth Faus, BA, MA
Elizabeth became a counsellor after realizing her strength and love for listening and caring for people.
She is passionate about journeying with people to find healing and growth in their lives. Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy. In addition, Elizabeth is trained in an extensive treatment modality called Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to deepen her ability to treat deep core wounds from attachment trauma, trauma and negative events that occurred over an individual’s developmental life to present day, which often lead to depression and anxiety.
She has practiced with adults and youth in conflict with the law, individual’s who have experienced domestic violence, anxiety and depression, grief, suicidal ideation, difficulties within families and/or in his or her interpersonal relationships.
In her own life, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, nieces and nephew, drinking tea, and being active.
It is her desire that counselling can be a place of comfort, strength building; a place that wounds can be healed and the provision of tools and resources can be offered to create an overall feeling of hope for today.
